From Logic to Presence
Before transitioning into clinical counseling, my world was shaped by the precision of mathematics and the rigors of high-pressure corporate environments. After earning my Master’s in Applied Mathematics from UCLA and teaching at the college level, I spent 15 years in clinical research. This background trained me to analyze complex systems with a logical, discerning eye—a skill I now utilize to help my clients identify patterns within their own internal chaos and navigate toward clarity.
The Turning Point
My professional trajectory shifted when I faced a debilitating illness that conventional systems struggled to address. To recover, I had to move beyond symptoms and learn to heal the mind, body, and spirit as a single, integrated system. This journey led me back to my Indigenous Taiwanese roots, where the understanding that consciousness and the physical body are inseparable is a lived reality. I didn't just study "psycho-spiritual" support; I mastered it to reclaim my own life.

Since 2012, I have mentored under Dr. Rick Levy, a pioneer in Mind-Body Medicine. By integrating the Levy Method—a sophisticated synthesis of psychotherapy, clinical hypnotherapy, and meditation—I help clients resolve deep-seated stressors that traditional talk therapy often overlooks.
Today, as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) based at The Levy Center in Gaithersburg, Maryland, I bring these two worlds together. I am here to help you troubleshoot the root of your pain—mental or physical—so you can return to a life of health, autonomy, and lasting calm. |
